Lucinda Springer was the daughter of Richard Springer and Sarah Boyce of Hamilton who were named on Lucinda Springer and Daniel Everitt’s marriage bond which was issued 20 Sep 1832 to Daniel (Cummins) Van Norman, gentleman, of Nelson Township according to Marriage Records of West Flamborough 1817-1832. (The bondsman, D.C. Van Norman, was the first cousin of the groom-to-be.)

She was not a daughter of Oliver Tiffany Springer who had witnessed the 1836 will of her father-in-law, Abner Everitt.

Some time after 1840, Lucinda married William Davis (4 Nov 1809 -) who was widower of Azubah M. Hopkins (1822-22 Sep 1840). Azubah Hopkins had died at 18 years of age and was buried in Job’s Lane cemetery.

Lucinda bore 2 children to William Davis : John Springer Davis who married Mary Catherine Smith and Lucinda Davis who married Thomas Allison Pearson.

William Davis later married Mary Elizabeth Fonger. William Davis was buried in Miles, Ohio. William Davis' brother was John Davis (8 Mar1800 -) who married Sarah Hopkins. John & William Davis were sons of Ashael Davis (1774-1850) and his first wife, Nancy Morden.
