Lucinda Elizabeth Carnal

Lucinda Carnal was born September 7, 1854 in Granville County, North Carolina. Her nickname was Betsy. Her parents were Moses C. Carnal and Margaret (Maggie) Dean. They moved to Wythe County, Virginia when Betsy was young (sometime between 1855 - 1859) and she attended public school in Wythe County. Lucinda married John M. Bunts on July 7, 1873 in Surry County, NC. She was 19 years old and John was 42.
