    May I call you Margret or will cousin do as well? I too am pleased to find kin. What information I have is scattered and not well organized. As it turned out ,that when mother died (Lucille Hape,Nellis,Crowder) Nov 30th 1980 I more or less inherited all the old pictures and letters that were in the attic. It was either that or trash them. My older half sister, (Patricia Christina Nellis,Dremstedt) before she died made an effort to try and make heads or tails of the information that she had accumlated. I have that information, some old bibles and pictures of people that I don't know.
    I'm glad that you seem to have a passion for your project. I'm going o double check and see if I can find your mothers name amongst the information.
    So far I've only gone back to my great grandfather William Fay(e) Crowder I have a pair of blacksmith tongs with his name (or someone older) inscribed on the jaws and it's spelled William Phaye Crowder. I'll attach a picture of him and his wife. I believe her name is Nettie.
    By the way, I'm 60 yrs old myself married 42 years to the same woman, five children, two boys, three girls, and 12 grand children no great grand children yet!

    I am a son of said parents, my older brother(Kenneth Leroy Crowder) by Chester has passed also.That leaves me with a younger sister (Roseann Crowder,Reaves) who lives in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and an older half brother Jerry Nellis living in Jacksonville Florida.
    Any idea on how we should proceed?
