Lovice Hill's tombstone inscription reads: Sharp was her pain, her troubles long, her faith was great, her patience strong. No murmuring thought troubled her breast, what Jesus ordered she thought best.

Lovice was the daughter of Daniel Hill and Mercy Hayward. She died of consumption.
