From Wanda Mae Flanigan's email dated Feb. 6,2003-He came to the Clam Falls/Lewis area around 1874 (he was 17)Lars Christian Larsen Sund. He came with his parents, and a brother Sorin (Samuel)and a sister Maren (Mary). Lars is the same as Lewis (Louis)in Danish.

Kristine Sund (wife) female is also 49. Maren [K.] Sund female (nil) is 19, Lars C. Sund (Nil) male is 16 and Soren C. Sund (Nil) male is 11. The all made the trip in Stearage. This information came from the New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957 through Ancestry.com Micro M237_390 list no. 569.
    I also have his "1st" papers stating Louis C. Sund was born in Danmark about 1857 emigrated to the US and landed at the Port of New York around June 1874. It was filed the 30th day of Novemeber 1878 in the State of Wisconsin Polk County.
