Lorinda Cady had a son, John Cady b. abt 1822, and a grandson, Levi.

Her death date is included in the papers concerning Palmer Fargo's will. In her will, she mentions daughters Polly Cox, Betsey Colby and Florilla O. Green. Palmer C. Fargo, son, is executor. [Florilla and Palmer C. were actually her step-children.]

"... to Florilla O. Green fifty dollars out of the legacy of $1000 given me in the will of Palmer Fargo deceased."

The will was signed with her mark. Lorenda could not write her name. After the chaos concerning her husband's will, it is interesting that Lorenda gave Florilla expressly money left by Florilla's father, but left no bequests to Palmer's other children other than Palmer C.
