   Lloyd Carl Brown, 68, of 613 Elwood Street, Cumberland, Md., died Jan. 9, 1979 at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland.  He had been in ill health.  Born Feb. 17, 1910 in Meyersdale, he was the son of the late John and Amanda Brown and was a retired employee of the Cumberland Water Department.  He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura (Werner) Miller Brown.
