OBITUARY

Word has been received here of the passing of Mrs. Ernest (Lillian) Bryan of Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Bryan is the daughter of Mrs. J.A. Anderson of Frederick and was reared in the Valley Home Community.

Mrs. Bryan died February 16, at Lubbock and funeral services will be held in the Gladstone Church of Christ in Frederick Monday at 2:00 p.m. with interments in Frederick Memorial Cemetery.

McClellan Funeral Home is in charge of services. Services will also be held in Lubbock on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Sunset Church of Christ.

Mrs. Bryan was born July 23, 1896 in Blanket, Tx., the daughter of J.A. and Frances McDaniel Anderson. She married Ernest Bryan in 1912 and they resided in Frederick for several years. Later the couple moved to Abilene, Texas, and then Lubbock, Texas.

Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by a daughter, Joye Bryan Davis.

Mrs. Bryan was beloved by a host of friends who were saddened to learn of her death.

Survivors include: Husband, Ernest Bryan of the home; son Alvis Bryan of Montpelier, Vermont; mother, Mrs. J.A. Anderson of Frederick, two brothers, John Anderson of Frederick and Ralph Anderson of Bakersfield, California; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stravlo of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Cenia Wallace of Vinita and eight grandchildren.
