Mrs.. Leta Ingle McPherson BURLINGTON — Mrs.. Leta Ingle McPherson, 90, of 2130 Anthony Road, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Integrated Health Services in Durham after several years of failing health.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Glenn P. McPherson, and the daughter of Ernest C. Ingle and Belle Clendenin Ingle, both deceased. She was a member of St. Mark’s Reformed Church.

Survivors include a son, Mr. Joe E. McPherson of Burlington; a brother, Mr. Fred Ingle of Burlington; three grandchildren, Mr. Michael McPherson of Burlington, Mrs.. Derona Schmeelk of Easley, S.C. and Mrs.. Brandy Hargett of Gastonia; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs.. Lura Murdoch; and three brothers, Mr. Prince Ingle, Mr. Koy Ingle and Mr. Clyde Ingle.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Robert M. Disher Jr.. and the Rev. Ben Bishop. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of the son, Joe McPherson, 2324 Anthony Road, Burlington.
