Leonard James Jackson appears in the 1880 Federal census in Hartwick, Otsego County, New York. He also appears in the June 14,1880 Federal Census living in Maryland Otsego County with Adeline, son Andrew and the Sanford Ballard family.. Leonard fails to appear in the will of spouse Adeline's will dated 16 September 1880. This is a strong indication that Leonard died and was buried between June 14 and Sept 16, 1880.
