  17. "HUDSON-- Mrs. Lena Weldy, 81, died at 6:30pm Saturday in Glen OaksNursing Home, Auburn, where she resided the past year.
    A lifetime resident of this community, she was a retired postmistress,former bookkeeper of Hudson Farmer's State Bank, and had been atelephone operator at Auburn Wholesale Hardware.
    She was born Aug. 10, 1890 in Hudson to Jacob and Delphenium (Towns)Ritter and was married Jan 12, 1928 in LaPorte to Orval W Weldy. He diedin 1943.
    She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Chapter 373 Order ofEastern Star, where she was formerly secretary.
    She is survived by one nephew, Ross Dahuff, R.R.1, Hudson Lake, and acousin, Betty Meek, R.R.1, Pleasant Lake.
    Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday in the Kistler FuneralHome. The Rev. James Boyle, pastor of the church, will officiate andburial will be in Circle Cemetery. Calling will be at the funeral homeafter 2pm today."
