Leland D. Kelley, 84, of 9105 Deerfield Hwy., Blissfield, died Friday afternoon (July 8, 1988) at Bixby Medical Center, Adrian, following a brief illness. He was born November 18, 1903 in Waldron to Earl and Ida Welling Kelley. A retired farmer, Mr. Kelley was employed for many years at Schader Plumbing and Heating of Blissfield. On August 8, 1922 he married Emily A. Ford in Wauseon, Ohio. She survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mariam) Ganun of Rochester, Minn. Mrs. Donald (Ruth Ileen) Abling and Mrs. Donald (Carolyn) Jentz of Adrian and Mrs. Mike (Nancy) Eardly of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; one son, Earl D. Kelley of Adrian; 16 grandchildren, 18 gr grandchildren, and one gggrandchild. a daughter, two sisters, his twin sister and a brother preceeded him in death. The funeral will be at 1 pm Monday at the Eagle Funeral Home, Hudson, with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Ransom Twp. Visitation is from 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Lenawee Co.

Adrian Daily Telegram - July 9, 1988 LELAND D. KELLEY BLISSFIELD - Leland David Kelley, 84, of 9105 Deerfield Hwy., Blissfield, died Friday, July 8, 1988, at Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. He was born Nov. 18, 1903, in Waldron to Earl and Ida (Welling) Kelley. He was married to Emily A. Ford on Aug. 8, 1922, in Wauseon, Ohio.

Mr. Kelley was a farmer and was employed as a plumber by Schadler Plumbing & Heating in Blissfield before his retirement. Surviving are his wife; one son, Earl D. Kelley of Adrian; four daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Miriam) Ganun of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Donald (Ruth Ileen) Abling of Adrian, Mrs. Donald (Carolyn) Gentz of Adrian and Mrs. Mike (Nancy) Eardly of Lulow Falls, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lynn Kelley; three sisters, Doris, Alice and his twin sister Lela; and one daughter, Venona Mae Wegner. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Twp., Hillsdale County. Visitation will be 7-9 Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday at the funeral home.
