  • purchaser of the De Bruyn patent in Kinderhook, NY - needs more research
  • also bought the easterly section of the Powell patent from Powell's widow - this land became part of son Stephen's share in Louren's immense holdings after Louren died in 1714 and is the site where Stephen built a fine homestead, which stayed in the family for 125 years (aka the W. B. Van Alstyne house in 1902).
