Laurence Womack, vicar of Buxton, Norf. Bap. Cantley, Norf., 25 Nov.1688. Died 30 Dec. 1724. M.I. Caister. (Arms: Womack impaling Gibson.) (Campling) 1668 - Baptism: Laurence, son of Laurence WOOMACK. 1685 - Lawrence is named in the will of his great uncle, Lawrence WOMACK, Bishop of St David's. He was bequeathed messuage with lands, tenements, meadows and pastures in Tannington (also known as Tattington) in Suffolk after the death of his great aunt, Katherine. 1695 - Recorded a Clerk on marriage record. 1711-24 - Rector of Caister. (Bolingbroke) May also have been Rector of Ashmonhagh (various spellings), suggested in footnote about Francis BLOMEFIELD (his son-in-law).
