He was born January 10, 1943 in Santa Anna, California to Cecil Lynn and Linda Lillywhite Wariner. Married Sandra Doyle on February 11, 1972 in Castle Rock, Colorado. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 9, 1973.

Ken served a mission for the LDS Church in the Florida Mission. He served as a Medic in the Air Force during the Vietnam War in Tucson and Thailand. Ken was a member of the Val Verde 8th Ward. He was an Art Teacher in the Alpine School District.

Survived by his wife, Sandra, Bountiful; children, Michael K. Wariner, Lakewood, Colorado; Matthew Cecil Wariner, Weston L. Wariner, Andrea L. Wariner, Rachel J. Wariner, all of Bountiful; parents, Layton; brothers and sisters, Lynn R. Wariner, Farmington, New Mexico;, Bonnie S. McKinnon, Layton; William J. Wariner, Sandy; James N. Wariner, Kaysville; Emily M. Holtey, Wessington Springs, South Dakota; C. Andrew Wariner, Centerville; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 12 1995 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive,where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
