Bad news. Dolores called and left me a message at work. Her brother Kenny died yesterday. He'd been having prostate and heart problems, but I don't know what the actual cause was.

SMOLLER KENNETH R. Age 76 of Greentree suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2003; beloved husband of 54 years to Amelia Kolanko Smoller; father of Eugene and Douglas Smoller; grandfather of David, Jennifer and Michelle Smoller; brother of Dorothy Bigleman, Dolores Karamarkovich, Anna Mae Smoller and Margaret Uguroglu and the late Robert Smoller; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ken was a WWII US Navy Veteran and a former Pittsburgh City Firefighter with Local #1. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at SCHEPNER-MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton.
