Keith was self educated. He became Chief Constable of Gravesend beforeWW2. He received the King's Police Medal (KPM) for trying to save children from a fire. He also received an OBE ? reason. Alicia says the OBE was for suggesting and implementing Air Raid Shelters before or during WW2.

He joined the Air Force (special intelligence) and at one point had to report to Wing Commander Alexander Webster (his son).

Notes on family - Angus' father, Keith Webster, KPM, OBE - pictures in album show him in Royal Navy 1917, in police in Grimsby 1931, in Air Force Special Intelligence 1941. A picture of a great, or great great grandfather, I am assuming Webster in Fraserburgh, Scotland. There is a family story about one of the Websters (?Alexander) changing their name from McWilliam so he could join the Navy before he was of legal age ?? (Worster-Worbster - Webster?)

Mrs. Webster has now been four times to the Palace, once before with her husband when he got the Police Medal for gallantry, and twice with her son, Flying-Officer Alexander Webster, who has the D.F.C. and Bar."
