Wife of Commander Brown Dead
Mrs. Katherine Bantz Davis Brown, wife of R.M.G. Brown, Commander United States Navy, retired and daughter of ex-Senator H.G. Davis of West Virginia died Wednesday afternoon at the Homeopathic Hospital in this city of typhoid fever. The funeral services will beheld at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Brown's sister, Mrs. Arthur Lee, 1708 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest. Dr. Teunis S. Hamlin of the Church of the Covenant will conduct the services. Her body will be buried at Oak Hill temporarily and will be removed later to Elkins, West Virginia. Mrs. Brown was a sister of Mrs. Elkins, wife of the Senator from West Virginia. She had been ill for more than a month.
