Louisa had 12 children, eight sons and one daughter. John, Daniel, Jacob, Frederick, and Karl emigrated first and come to Tascarawas County, Ohio. Later Peter, Henry and their mother Louisa Kirsch Schug come over. Henry was 24 years old when they came (1847). Karl and Frederick went to Indiana, Jacob settled in Cleveland and became quite well to do John had a black smith shop in Clay Township Tuscarawas Co. Ohio. Peter was a bachelor (never married) and lived with Henry Schug and his wife. Louisa married a Schneider and lived in Tuscarawas County Ohio and Daniel went west-Alberta, Canada or Minnesota.
Louisa Kirsch spent her last days with Henry Schug and wife who lived at Tuscarawas County Ohio. It is near Port Washington. Louisa is baried in the old cemetery at Port Washington.
