Her transcribed marriage record says her parents were Bill and Morning Trucher (probably Tincher)[2], but her death record gives her parents' names as John Farley and Morning Stepp[3]. It seems likely that her mother had been married to Bill Tincher, but Tincher was not Kate's father.
