Try to make sense out of information from Grace Naomy Schott (at 85th birthday party for Lewis Stanley Farnlacher, Blendon Woods park, July 5, 1998)... Is "Catherine Schmidt from Columbus", Grace's grandmother, the same person as "Kate Schmidt, daughter of Andreas Schmidt and Agatha Farnlacher"?

Aziel Schott Shockley said that she and Grace were first cousins. If true, this means that one of Aziel's parents was a brother or sister to one of Grace's parents. The information collected from Grace and Aziel doesn't show this: their four parents all have different parents (there should be one commonality somewhere!). However, Bernadine Schott Daily (Farnlacher reunion, 8-23-98) said that Charles Schott (Aziel's grandfather) and Adam Schott (Grace's grandfather) were brothers. This would make Grace and Aziel second cousins, right?
