  3.   Source: Vermont, United States. Vital Records, 1760-1954 has a record showing the marriage of Justus Holland to Sophia Stone in 1848. On this marriage record, the groom Justus's parents are listed as Joseph and Serena, making it appear to be this Justus. But this appears to be an error, either in the original record, or by the town clerk making this transcription. Various records, such as the 1850 census, family 65; birth and death records, clearly indicate it is an older man. It appears to be the brother of Justus's father Joseph, i.e., his uncle.
