The following newspaper notices were contributed by Dr. Anthony Troha: Death notice for Julia Hasbrouck Jackson, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, March 25, 1929, Page 22, Column 1. "JACKSON—JULIA HASBROUCK, wife of Frank B. and mother of Herbert H. Jackson. Services at Trinity Church, Northport, N. Y., at 11:30 A. M., Tuesday, March 26, 1929."

Death notice for Julia Hasbrouck Jackson, New York Times, March 25, 1929, Page 24. "JACKSON—Julia Hasbrouck, wife of Frank B. and mother of Herbert H. Jackson. Services at Trinity Church, Northport, N. Y., at 11:30 A. M., Tuesday, March 26, 1929."

Transfer taxes on Julia H. Jackson's estate, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, June 18, 1929, Page 22, Column 6. "JACKSON ESTATE SET AT $200,000

Riverhead, L. I., June 18—Transfer tax schedules filed in the Surrogate's Court here in the estate of the late Julia H. Jackson of Middleville, Smithtown and Brooklyn show a net valuation of $200,638.48, all of which goes to Frank B. Jackson, the husband, whose city address is 1014 E. 14th st., Manhattan. The tax imposed amounts to $882.77."

None of the above gives the exact date of her death or even the county in which she died. Services were held at Northport, Suffolk Co. The property she left to her husband was located in Middleville, Herkimer Co., Smithtown, Suffolk Co., and Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. The taxes transferred on her property was done in Riverhead, Long Island which is in Suffolk County, so it could be assumed that was her principal place of residence.

Note that her husband Frank inherited quite a large sum from Julia when she died in 1929 but by the time his will was probated in 1931, the inheritance left to their son amounted to only 62,031. One may assume the 'great depression' hit them hard.
