She never had the privilege of schooling - was strong in body and character. She came to McHenry County, Illinois with her family, and moved to Woodstock, where she spent her last days. She was a joy and blessing to all who knew her, affectionately known as "Grandma Brock." She was almost a life-long member of the Free Methodist church.
