Judith Marie Laughner passed peacefully into heaven on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 30, 1941, in Greensburg, to Ernest and Dolores Laughner. She is survived by siblings, Richard "Dick," Karen, John "Jack," Greg and Dolores "Dodie," their spouses and children. Her most recent residence was Tucson, Ariz., but she spent most of her life in California, mainly Palm Springs, where she raised her two children. Her family legacy includes: daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Billy Comstock; granddaughter, Jenell Macias; grandsons, Jesse Macias, Ian and Evan Comstock; and great-granddaughter, Lola Marie Enriquez. Also her son and daughter-in-law, David and Jennifer Mervinsky, and grandsons, Alex, Rylan and Anton Mervinsky, who all reside in Humbolt, Calif. Judy was a lover of nature, good food, and the great redwoods. She also adored the desert sunrises.
