Numerous secondary sources say that William Hubbard's second wife was Judith Knapp. Anderson left her surname blank, and does not further address her ancestry in his comments to the Hubbard sketch. If Anderson's assessment is correct regarding the number of Hubbard's wives and the distribution of their children, Judith would be step-mother of Rev. William, not the mother.
