    DIES AT AGE OF 86.

    Mrs. Judy Dowell, 86, died at the family home in Jackson township Wednesday night of pneumonia. She was the widow of John Dowell and came here with her husband from Kentucky in 1891 and settled on the farm where she died. Mr. Dowell died several years ago. Six sons survive. Burial will be made at Mt. Pleasant.

    FUNERAL OF MRS. DOWELL SATURDAY.

    Funeral serives for Mrs. Judith Dowell, whose death occured at her home in Jackson township Wednesday night, will be held from Mt. Plesant church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Warren P. Clark of this city. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Dowell, who was 87 years old, settled in Jackson twp in 1882. She is survived by five sons, James, Albert, A. C., Dave and Calvin.
