Joel Meador's first wife Judith signed a deed of sale with Joel on 21 Oct 1743, and again on 17 Mar 1744 in Amelia County. Joel sold two more parcels of land apparently without his wife's signature; then on 23 Sep 1768 sold property with his wife Agnes's consent.
