Joyce Ann (Smith) Holcomb, 72, a lifelong resident of Sandusky CO a lovi ng wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, went ho me to be with her Lord on Tuesday.

Joyce was born to the parents of Richard and Mae (Morgan) Smith in Sandus ky CO's Scott Township. On June 10, 1950, she became the bride of Jam es E. Holcomb Sr.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gibsonburg and a me mber of the Senior Choir. She was a former member of the VVC Choir of Sand usky CO.

Surviving are her husband, James, of 54 years; sons, Gerald (Kathy) of Sou thfield, Mich., Allen (Vickie) of Fremont, James E. Holcomb Jr. (Shelly) a nd Kevin (Dawn) of Gibsonburg; daughter, Debra (John) Tate of Fostori a; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Doroth y) Smith, James (Nona) Smith, Thomas (Kathleen) Smith and Richard Smith; s isters, Dolores Smith and Carol (Alton) Bouldin; uncle, Virgil (Rosa) Smit h; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce is preceded by her parents, stepmoth er, Orveta Smith, sister, Rosemary Smith, and brothers, Benjamin and Ne al Smith.

Visitation: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Ho me and Cremation Services, 319 W. Madison St., Gibsonburg.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Fritz Merkes will o fficiate.

Burial: Bradner Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her doctors, nurses and aides at Memorial H ospital and friends for their kindness and support shown to Joyce throu gh this difficult time.
