Jost (Joseph) Ebersohl landed in Phila Penna (September 3, 1739) from Rotterdam, Holland on the ship "Rober and Alice." He was granted 200 acres of land in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on April 23, 1740. In 1772, he paid taxes on land, horses and cattle in Rapho Township.
