GRAHAM — Mrs.. Josie Elizabeth Graves Williams, 91, of 4383 Cedar Cliff Road, died at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Alamance Health Care Center after four years of failing health, and a critical illness of one week. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late George Willis Williams, and the daughter of the late Eli Martin Graves and Martha Jane Williams Graves. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs.. Jane W. Wilson, Mrs.. Marie W. Dodson and Mrs.. Mary W. Hodgin, all of Graham; three sons, Mr. G. Dewey Williams of Oak Island, and Mr. Harvey M. Williams and Mr. Roy L. Williams, both of Graham; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Carroll Williams; two sisters, Mrs.. Fairy Copeland and Mrs.. Matt Williams; and three brothers, Mr. Roy Graves, Mr. Dewey Graves and Mr. George Graves. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard Dawson, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of her daughter, Mrs.. Mary Hodgin, 4858 Preacher Holmes Road, Graham.
