Stearns, Joshua, s. Isaac and Elizebeth, [born] July 10, 1748.
[Note: VR Waltham show the birth of two sons named Joshua in this family, the first born on 26 May 1742, and the second born on 10 Jul 1748. It likewise has two death records for sons named Joshua, explicitly of this family, one dated 27 Oct 1746 and the other 10 Jul 1748. Normally this would suggest that the second son named Joshua d. the same day he was born. However, no birth for a third Joshua is recorded, and the age at death suggests that the birth of the surviving Joshua was indeed in 1748, and other sources also seem to discount the 1748 death record. So it appears that the death of "Joshua, s. Isaac and Elizabeth, July 10, 1748" is in error, possibly the result of recording the death of the first Joshua at the same time as the birth of the second Joshua?]
