Joshua was not named in his grandfather David Spencer's will. David Spencer died in 1835, so Joshua was born. Why did David name his grandson, David Hightower, and not Joshua Hightower. Perhaps this is not Nancy's and Joshua's son. However, Nancy's brother is named Joshua, and this Joshua Hightower is buried on the Spencer family farm, so it seems likely that this is, in fact, Nancy and Joshua's son.Joshua was not named in his grandfather David Spencer's will. David Spencer died in 1835, so Joshua was not yet born. Why did David name his grandson, David Hightower, and not Joshua Hightower. Perhaps this is not Nancy's and Joshua's son.
