[Neither this birth nor death date is found in Lancaster Records. Neither is a marriage to Hannah Brigham mentioned in this source, although it does not appear that it could be any other Joseph Wilder Esq of Lancaster. Apparently this source contains some significant errors, mostly in regards to the son of this Joseph and his grandchildren (see Source:NEHGR, p. 118:63), according to the will of this Joseph, proved 9 Apr 1777, Worcester Probate 65639.]

Will of "Joseph Wilder of Lancaster", dated 21 Jan 1777, proved 9 Apr 1777, mentions "my dearly Beloved Wife Rebecca Wilder and her heirs, all the Estate now remaining which she brought with here at our marriage", "my Son Gardner Wilder", "my Grandson Gardner Wilder", "my Grandson John Wilder", "my Grandson John Locke", "my Children Joseph Wilder, Gardner Wilder & Deborah Carter", sons Joseph and Gardner Executors. [Note the estate is "equally divided among my Said children & Grandchildren", but it is doubtful if all the grandchildren are named here, since, as the will says, "the children of my Said Sons Joseph & Gardner & my Daughter Deborah Shall take share & share alike with their said parents & with all my other Grandchildren."]
