    30 Apr 1752: "Joseph White of Mendon ... husbandman" for £80 to "Benjamin White of Uxbridge" land bounded by "my Mother in Law Eunice White as her thirds in and of ye Estate of my Hon'd Fathers Benj'a: White late of Uxbridge Dec'd", "also my Whole Right" in dower of mother in law and estate of father. Acknowledged the same day.
    [In the first distribution of the estate of Benjamin White (the father) in 1744, Joseph White received a share. In the distribution of the widow's dower in 1788, the share of the "heirs of Joseph White" was included in the portion set off to the heirs of Benjamin White 2'd, citing this deed.

George Aldrich Genealogy, 1605-1971, p. 76, says Margery's husband was born 8 Mar 1729, son of Benjamin White and Mary Thayer. Source:Thayer, Elisha. Family Memorial : Genealogy of Fourteen Families of the Early Settlers of New England, of the Names of Alden, Adams, Arnold, Bass,, p. 165, makes the same identification. The basis is not known but seems supported by naming a son Benjamin.
