I have added this record based entirely on the burial notice. The births and burials of all other Josephs living in Downton at the time have been accounted for. As the burial notes Joseph son of Joseph, the only possibility for this record remains an unrecorded birth to Joseph (1725-1806) and Mary. Given the dates of this couple's other children it appears that this Joseph is probably an infant and would explain the unrecorded baptism.
