JOSEPH MUSGRAVE was born at Leeds, England in 1820 and emigrated to America in 1841. He first went to the State of New York, but remained there only one year. Emigrating from New York he went in '42 to Wisconsin and bought a farm where he remained until '56 when he came to Kansas and settled on Irish Creek. After living there two years he sold his claim and went to the southern part of the state, but he returned to the country after a year's absence and settled on Clear Fork where he has a farm of 240 acres, 80 under cultivation, and large story and a half stone house.
