Joseph Porter Gibson, 76, a retired carpenter for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad, died Tuesday in his home. He was a native of Paris, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, the former Myrtle Edgar; three daughters, Mrs. Sid Blackburn, Mrs. Raymond Smith and Mrs. Steve England; and four sons, Bobbie, Floyd, James and David.
The funeral will be Friday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
