Joseph Fletcher, of Salisbury, "planter" or "husbandman," prob. b. ab. 1636, was a servant of Sam. Hall in 1653; taxed in S. 1659; householder in 1677; free. 1690, etc. He m. June 18, 1660[S], Israel2 Pike (John1) [wid. of Henry True]. "Mrs. Fletcher" was a member of S. chh. 1687; she d. March 12, 1699-1700[S]. He d. March 15, three days later; Capt. Henry True of S. adm. est. Sep. 15,1701.
