To all Christian People to whom this present deed of Sale Shall come Thomas Day Senr of Glocester in the Countey of Essex in New England who married with Hannah Clarke the widow relict and administratrix of the Estate of Joseph Clarke late of Said Glocester Deceased Sendeth Greeting &ca Know ye that the said Thomas Day and Hannah his wife for and In Consideration of Six pounds Money to them in hand paid . . . by Joseph Clarke of said Glocester in the County aforesaid Eldest Son of the aforesd Joseph Clarke Deceased as also In Consideration of the right which he the Said Joseph Clarke hath in the Estate left by his Said ffather Deceased at which they doe account as good and Sufficient Satisfaction and In Consideration whereof they have given granted bargained Sold . . . all the Estate . . . we the Said Thomas Day and Hannah my now wife Ever had Now have or Might have . . . in or unto the the [sic] Dwelling house and all the lands which the Said Joseph Clarke aforesaid Deceased Dyed Seized or possessed of . . . which Said Dwelling house and lands are Scittuate in the township of Glocester aforesaid . . . the Said Dwelling house and about four acres of land on part of which land the Said dwelling house Now Standeth lys near unto a Cove commonly knowne or Called by the name of Trunell Cove. . . .
