    Joseph2 Chase (Thomas1), born in Hampton, N.H., 1645; died there, 12 Jan 1717/8. He married in Hampton, 31 Dec 1671, Rachel Partridge, daughter of William and Ann Partridge, born in Salisbury, 19 Jun 1650; died in Hampton, 27 Oct 1718. They lived in Hampton near "The Landing" where a few graves of the Chase and Freese family still remain in 1928.
