Joseph shows up in the 1690 Poll Tax: "Joseph Bach Yeoman Farmer and his wife" (residing at The Gannow). He is also said to be "of the Gannow" in 1705, the parish registers.

By the ? mission of Almighty God I Joseph Bach of Gannow in the parish of Bromsgrove in the County of Worcester do make this my last will and testament in manner following it is to say in the first place I give and devise to my son Benjamin Bach and his heirs all those my Lands and the messuages abt the gannow which came by descent to my wife att the death of her brother William Cole in case he shall nott interupt disturb or hinder any of my other children their heirs or assigns in the quiet possession and enjoyment of the messuages Lands and missse devised orgivon(?) to them or any one of them Butt if my son Benjamin his heirs or assigns shall att any time interrupt or disturb any of my other children their heirs or assigns in the possession and enjoyment of the messuages Lands tenemts or misses herein after to any of them devised or of any part there of then and in such case I revoke the devise hereby made to my son Benjamin Bach and his heirs And I give and devise the said Lands tenemts and misses to any one or more of my other children the said Benjamin shall in Law or equity so disturb or putt to trouble And in such case I give to my son Benjamin Bach one shilling only Item I give and devise to my Daughter Lydia Corson to her and her heirs forever those three Closes I purchased of Richard Bratt Item the brand ways(?) and the Close on the southeast side of the brand way I give and devise to my Loving sister Hannah White to her and her heirs intrust that she will dispose thereoff to my Daughters Mary Pritchard and Phobe Mason and Lydia Corson and her Children Benjamin and William and Elizabeth and Mary And to William and Elizabeth the Children of Wm Bach as my said sister shall think to be most proper Item all of the Lands and buildings with their appurtenances which I purchased of William Hunt (Except the brandways and the close on the southeast side above devised in trust) I give and Devise to my Loving Daughter Mary Pritchard to her and her heirs for ever which said Lands and ?inisses are enclosed in part by the gannow Land and the Land from frankley Item all my personal Estate goods and Chattels I give and bequeath to my said sister And desire she will please to take satisfaction to her own content for all the Loving care and pains and trouble she has taken upon her for me Item I bequeath to my sons in law Richard Pritchard John Corson and Joseph Mason twenty shillings a piece And to Sarah Wife of Benjamin Bach and their son William and to Benjamin and William and Elizabeth and Mary Children of my Daughter Lydia And to William and Elizabeth Children of William Bach I give and bequeath five shillings a piece Item I give & devise to my Daughter Mary Pritchard to her & her heirs all of b____ Lands & tenements & finesses with their appertenances which were my Wifes set___ or Joynture out of the same she shall pay her brother William two shillings every week during his life or more if she thinks he deserves it by behaving well And my will is she shall maintain William Bachs two Children William & Elizabeth ___ they are able to maintain themselves if their father is not able to maintain them And out of the same finisses she her heirs or assigns shall pay one annuity or yearly ____ of five pounds unto my daughter Phobe Mason During her natural life and twenty pounds of money att the end of three years after my decease the said Mary shall pay half my ___ out of the issues and profits of the said joynture or devised finisses I name and Constitute my sister Hannah White and my Daughter Mary Pritchard Joynt Executors of this my Last Will & Testament and revoke all former Wills written in past with my own hand in my in the Eightyeth year of my age (I was born aprill 3.1666) on one sheet of paper I sign seal & declare this to be my Last Will & testament June the Eighteenth in the year 1746 in the presence of us as Wittnesses Roger Wilkes Thomas Wilkes Mary Knight Joseph*** Bach

1st May 1758 The Executors named in this will appd personally & were then sworn in comon form of Law before me
