Joseph AUCOIN, born about 1700, married about 1720 to Anne TRAHAN (no parents given), born about 1694 [so 6 years older; her 2nd marriage?]; four children. As a widower with two daughters Joseph disembarked at St. Malo from England on 23 May 1763 from the ship "La Dorothee." They lived at Plouer from 1763 until 1769. He died 25 May 1769 at la Metterie Pommerais, at the age of about 69 years; buried 26 May 1769 at Plouer, Cotes-du-Nord, France, in the presence of Gregoire MAILLET, his son-in-law. |
