    Joseph Ashburn arrived in Milford in 1650 as an after planter and later removed. He died 1717. Adm. granted 4 October 1717 to widow and son Joseph. He married Mary Sanford who was born New Haven 28 September 1670 and died 26 August 1750 (MVR as Holt) dau of Ephraim and Mary (Powell). She married/2 Joshua Hotchkiss of New Haven s of Samuel and Elizabeth and married/3 Eliezer Holt of New Haven.
