The English Townsends, p. 19, implies that Jonathan of Hebron, CT, was likely originally of Watertown, MA, b. 1687 and son of Martin Townsend. And that (p. 15-17), Martin was the son of Martin Townsend of Hinton-in-the-Hedges, England, who died in 1675, age 79.
