19 Jul 1738: George Lawrance Cordwainer of Waltham with Samuel Stearns Husbandman of Waltham and Jonas Pierce Cordwainer of Lexington as sureties admitted administrator of the Estate of Jonathan Stearns late of Waltham aforesaid Dece'd Intestate.
5 Dec 1738: Petition of heirs, namely: "Timothy Stearns of framingham yeo: Samuel Stearns of Waltham juner yeo: ... Isaac Barnard of Suten yeo: and Sarah his wife and francis Herington of Grafton Yeo: and Prudence his wife Nathaniel Admas [sic] of s'd Grafton Housright and Eunice his wife ... and Anna Stearns of said Waltham wingle women .. being children of mr Samuel Stearns Sen'r of said Waltham yeo: and Brethren and sisters to Jonathan Stearns late of s'd Waltham yeo: Decesed and whereas our Brother in Law George Lawrance of s'd Waltham cordwainer [note: in a later passage is added "and mary his wife"] is admitted administrator of the Estate...". Notes a release from their father to any share he may have, notes shares have been received, and requests discharge of adminsitrator since all satisfied.
