Jonathan Greele [#9], s/o Philip [p. 16: Grele [#2] and Sarah Isley], b. Salisbury 15 Feb 1672-3, d. Salisbury 25 Oct 1750, m. Salisbury 21 Mar 1697-8 Jane Walker. Will [full transcription provided] of Jonathan Greele, dated 1 Mar 1749/50, names sons David and Samuel; daughter Wheeler; daughters Sarah Brown and Mary Smith; sons of my son Philip Greele dec'd; son Benjamin; son Jonathan. Sons David & Samuel to be executors. [Citing Essex Probate, Vol. XXIX, p. 291 (found at 381). Note: the transcription names sons David & Samuel several times, and once refers to Daniel & Samuel. Both by context and by comparison to the original and the recorded version of the will this is a misreading. There is no son Daniel mentioned in the will. The will was proved 5 Nov 1750.]
