  4.   Source:Brigham, Willard Irving Tyler. History of the Brigham Family : A Record of Several Thousand Descendants of Thomas Brigham the Emigrant, 1603-1653, p. 163, gives the birth date of Jonas as 29 Nov 1759, which is not found in Marlborough VRs (nor is it consistent with 1781 being a second marriage since at 22, it would make him barely of legal age), and it is clear from Hudson that this date was actually meant to be the date of his first marriage (though that is itself a subject of discussion on the Family page for his first marriage). Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Ward Family, p. 91, does not show the second marriage, but the newer Source:Martyn, Charles. William Ward Genealogy, p. 143, does, and the birth record in Marlborough VRs of son John in 1781 lists the parents as "Jonas and Nanne, 2d w."
