    Case 14140:Jonas Livermore & al. 1724.

22 Mar 1724: Bond of Jonathan Stone as Guardian unto Jonas Livermore a Minor his his fifteenth year of age a son of Mr Daniel Livermore late of Watertown
[Based on "Georgio Undecimo", 11th year of reign of George, starting 1 Aug 1714, this is 22 Mar 1724/25. 15th year, age 14, so born between 23 Mar 1709/10 to 22 Mar 1710/11, which means about 1710. By comparison, his brother David, who had the same guardian, was born 1 Mar 1714/15, and is said to be in his eleventh year, age 10, on the same date. He would have turned 10 on 1 Mar 1724/25.]

  2.   There are two Jonas Livermores born in Watertown about 1710, both having a father named Daniel, both fathers dying before the son reached adulthood, both widows marrying men living in Sudbury. Thus there is little information to use to distinguish the parents of the two Jonas Livermores. Source:Thwing, Walter Eliot. Livermore Family of America, and Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), have been followed in pairing the s/o Daniel and Mehitable with Elizabeth Rice, and pairing s/o Daniel and Mary with Esther Hyde. Actually, some circumstantial information suggests this may be backwards: Jonas and Elizabeth named one child David, which may have been after the brother of Jonas, s/o Daniel and Mary. But nothing obvious or definitive has been found yet.
