Person:Jonas Braucht (1)

Wife name = Eva ___ ?. This Jonas probably a brother of Daniel Braught (b.1765), father of Adam Sr. Braught. This connection relates the Braught lines of Adam Sr. and Jonas, both with extensive files in 1997 - collections of Loran Braught. See entirely separate file of JONAS that shows great extensions of this family line. Use caution that many of the people of these different lines had same name, similar dates and locations, etc. I hope that one day we can find sufficient documentation (perhaps in early 1700, but perhaps in the old country) of a common parentage of these many American Braucht/Braught/Braght/Brought/Pracht/Bracht/Brecht, etc families ... most of whom are very logically related and clearly closely interrelated. I had several instances where surname spellings varied for the same verified person, so surname spelling is not sufficient help in differentiating the lines.

One clear connection by marriage in found with a Reddin man (Thomas Reddin, Jr.) of one ( Adam) line (his mother a Braught) who married a Braucht lady (Lucinda Jane Braucht) of a different (Jonas) line.  I pursued that connection very carefully to assure that I was not missing some closer connection by blood and found none to date.  Because I have so many interrelationship connections between the Jonas Braucht and Adam Braught lines, I have included in this Braught file several examples of the Jonas file.
See Bindnagle Records by Poorman, clearly tying this family together (using Pracht spelling).  Strong possibility that Jonas Braucht b. 1763 could be closely related to Daniel Braught b. 1765; father of Adam Braught. Bindnagle shows baptism of Catherina, dau. of David Pracht and Mary Sprecher Pracht; also record of twin boys born 5 may 1815; John and George, sons of John Pracht; also 8 Jul 1815 baptism of David born 21 May 1815 to David Pracht and his wife Mary.  There are reasons to deduct that John and David (wife Mary) Pracht were indeed brothers who married and had children about the same time (ca. 1813).

Needed documentation: Could this be a brother to Daniel Braught, father also of Adam? Who are all of the sibling of each? Who are their parents?
